It's the fifth year of Odd Todd's Ducky Ducks! Every year they float/race rubber ducks down the East River and raise money for Special Olympics! So I'm like Captain of the Ducky Duck team and want to help raise some funds for a good cause etc...
If you buy a duck-- your duck will be in the race! Only $5!

When I first saw this, I thought all of y'all that saw her going clockwise were crazy. Came back several hours later, and finally got her to spin clockwise. Whoa!
Uh, not to get too technical or anything, but that depends on if you're looking at her from the top or bottom.
She switches around! She goes clockwise for a while and then changes, it's obvious. Especially after the many MANY minutes I've spent looking.... She's a little cold...
She just switched, the little bitch! I was about to say clockwise for sure. And then she changed. Like I literally caught her changing. It's not that my perception changed; it's that she changed.
i've been watching for about 5 minutes now, clockwise, clockwise, no switching and no ambiguity. that B spins clockwise!
it's not an optical illusion... it just changes from one direction to the other from time to time... notice that the page seems to refresh every now and then... (the page blinks for a split second)... and then the figure seems to change direction.
I didn't think it was an illusion at first either, but it's true. Concentrate on her shadow while imagining that she's spinning in the other direction then look back up at her and she'll be going in that direction. It takes some practice but once you get the hang of it you can make her spin in whatever direction you want at will.

It's an illusion. If you have trouble seeing her turn the opposite direction, try closing your eyes and tilting your head more than 90 degrees then looking at it.
I think it's an illusion. If I blink super fast and sort of play slap at her quickly in one direction or another she seems to switch...
Try it after a few beers. I think she likes me. It is obviously an evil computer program meant to jack with all men! If you stand up and tilt your head up and down you can make her go either direction. Remember those posters you crossed your eyes to look at? Its nothing like that!OMG!

She does change direction. Focus on her foot and you will see. It's random, but every few seconds or so.
i analysed this in adobe image ready there is no change of direction. there are just 34 frames that repeat over and over. get over it people who think this is changing becase it is not. it is the way you are looking at it that is changing.

It changes, refflection is correct. Left arm, then right, then left. Took me a while to actually see the change but I finally did.
um never mind... which arm is sticking out changes depending on whether you think it's in front or in back. so my bad, it's an illusion.

i don't think it's an illusion. i can be slow sometimes, but not so slow that my brain pauses what i see while it catches up.
in other words, there's a SLIGHT hesitation when it changes direction.
I don't think it is an illusion - last night it was counterclockwise, this morning it is clockwise, so I think it is someting that is geared to change.
I believe it is an illusion, but I can't figure out how it works. I have a very hard time making her go couterclockwise - I kind of have to look at her out of the corner of my eye to get her to switch.
I get why it's supposed to look like it's spinning both ways, because that's the way Crow's head on "Mystery Science Theater 3000" looked. It's silouette looked like it was facing the wrong direction. But honesty, this chick just looks like she's spinning clockwise to me.

This is officially settled! I watched this with my wife and we each saw it going in different directions.
Once and for all...it's an illusion!!! I can get it to switch every single rotation. You just have to train your eyes to see it differently each time the legs cross.
Right click the image and view it all by itself if you are worried about some changes on the status bar. Its an illusion.
It's an illusion. Notice her leg moves both to the right and to the left. Whether you think that she's moving to the right with her leg in front or in back determines the direction you think it's going. Awesome.

she changes from counter to clockwise and then back! It doesnt matter whether the arms or legs are front or back. Look at her tits and ass or her pony tail. They tell you which way shes going. she switches when she's facing about 90 degrees from you so you can tell from her profile which of her limbs is in front of the other, THATS why it looks like an illusion; because from a strictly 2D vantage, her swinging leg is basically just a pendulum, interchangeable with the other one. Here's a trick to it if you really cant see it. Just count out loud when her tits are facing front, left, back, right while she turns. When she does turn youll catch yourself counting in reverse.

all i see is clockwise...that's all i've ever seen even with Anonymous' counting trick up there...and I don't see a pendulum effect neither...
It IS an illusion. There are 34 frames. If you can not get her to change at will, do the following. Open up another window, and cover her upper half with it so that there is no trace of her rear end or hands. just the legs. Now instead of trying to switch her rotation. try to STOP her rotation, basically yes, it is a pendulum. Now, look down. Twirl your finger in front of you clockwise for a few seconds, and look up. Do the opposite. Now uncover her. You should be able to switch her at will now.
