Wacky Headspinny New Film Dream

So I just woke up with a kooky dream in my head and I'm writing it down now before it fragments up and I forget it. I haven't even made coffay yet.

OK, I was working in some sort of techie lab or something where they invented a camera that would record at a superduper fast speed. Like a million gazillion frames every second crazy fast or whatever. And we (I don't remember who the others were in 'we') set up the camera to record the first million gazillion frames per second type video in the cafeteria of the lab. The cafeteria was my cafeteria from high school. (are all weird dream settings set in high school?)

The camera looked like an old-style camera and for whatever reason it ran on regular film not digital or whatever. And we recorded people sitting at the tables and eating and stuff. Then we went back to watch the film everything looked superduper slow motion or whatever because it was a million gazillion frames every second.

But when we looked at the frames we saw that zipping around everyone in the cafeteria lighting fast were these creatures with blurry faces. Couldn't tell if they were good or evil or what. They were sort of like gaseous greenish and they were definitely involved with us. They would touch us.

And we all sort of freaked out staring at them-- and then went off to see if we could slow the film down even more...

That was it. Sort of reminding me of some movie from something maybe? Or a Star Trek? A King book? Or maybe not. I dunno. Maybe just being around in this movie world is getting in my head.

Any interpreters out there?

Good vibes to y'all!

PS. This video made me smile...

There was an X-Files episode where kids found away to move really super-duper fast. maybe that's what you're thinking of.

Star Trek - Wink of an Eye - "Stardate 5710.5: When a landing party investigating Scalos begins to vanish one by one, Kirk, Spock and McCoy try to find out what is happening before more of the crew disappears, until Kirk himself is abducted. Kirk finds the cause to be a group of endangered Scalosians who move faster than human sight or hearing can detect. They need to repopulate their species, and find that speeding human males up to Scalosian speed will meet their needs. Kirk must find a way to get a message to Spock and McCoy, who are working on a cure for the mystery "ailment," as well as stirring up fighting among the Scalosians, before they have control of the Enterprise.t"

Goosebumps: Say Cheese and Die.

....doesn't really have anything to do with anyone moving really fast or really slow, it's just a spooky book about a haunted camera I read when I was little.

Futurama Episode #511: 300 Big Boys

Everyone gets a tax refund of $300 from Nixon and spends it in some ridiculous way. Of course Fry is the dumbest monkey in the barrel and spends it on 300 cups of coffee. In the end, when he finally reaches 300 cups he's so freakin wired that he goes into this enlightened state where everything around him is super slow motion - that's because he's moving 300 times faster than everyone else. So he casually walks around putting a fire out at the restaurant where his gang is, but to them it just looks like an orange blur blipping around. One of the greatest episodes ever.

What about "From Beyond"? 1986? The scientist creates the resonator that stimulates the pineal gland, allowing him to see stuff that's all around us but, like 90 degrees out of phase? And then it like grows out the front of his skull like a little tentacle. I love campy 80's horror flicks....

In my opinion --it means you're doing good work. And you're on the right path or something. Does that make sense? Like --trust yourself.

I think the idea that creatures can move around us like that is totally possible. Also I like the vid :) Stop war and let's dance it out.

Do republicans even believe what they're saying anymore? I listened to Sean Hannity today and he was talking about "victory".

The only victory left to be had is getting this lunatic out of office! He is an embarrassment!!! WORST PREZ EVER!!!

Reminds me of a movie I saw. I think it was called "Photographing Fairies." In it, a sceptical photographer attempts to disprove the existence of fairies in a town in England. The fairies supposely move faster than the eye can track, and are only seen by people who eat a local flower that speeds them up. He tries to use a high-speed camera to photgraph the area in which they supposedly reside.
