Chowdah (don't think cats have nine lives? Chowdah has gone through intermediate heart disease after throwing a blood clot that left her with a leg limp. In the 3 months that followed she had ultrasounds, EKGs, lungs tapped when fluid filled in from the IV, had a food tube put in her side, turned yellow with liver problems, had radiation treatment to solve the thyroid problem that required the meds that caused the heart problem, and basically just damn near died. She rallied and is doing great today. ..the Vets are still amazed. Going on. Feeling strong.)
