Selfish with Pastrami

I like pastrami sandwiches. Pastrami sandwich on rye with mustard and coleslaw right on the sandwich. I get it only once in a while as a special treat to me. I got one yesterday with a nice sour pickle on the side and it was good.

Today I was running around alot and on the way back I thought... 'Another pastrami sandwich?' And in my head I'm like, "Do you really think that's a good idea? You just had one yesterday." But then I'm like, "But it was so good. Just get one. No one's watching." But then I was like, "Dude, you don't go back-to-back on pastrami. It's just not done. Not two days in a row.."

I head into the deli on auto-pilot and order me up another pastrami sandwich to go, then head home and sit down in front of the TV and start in. I couldn't be happier. It was so good this pastrami. It was lean and the mustard was spicy and the pickles were really good. After my sandwich I took a little bit of a nap and I felt really full and good. I think I fell asleep with a little smile...but when I woke up my whole world was different.

I had heartburn. My mouth tasted funny. I was burping long loud burps (my neighbors must hate me). I felt like my stomach was mad at me. It was making noise. I walked around my apartment trying to shake it off but the burps kept coming and I just felt all around ill. Yesterday after pastrami I felt fine, but today pastrami punished me. Even as I am typing this I am taking breaks to burp and stuff. It was a terrible call eating pastrami two days in a row. It was selfish and greedy. I'm sorry pastrami. Pastrami is a special occasion sandwich and should be treated with respect. Too much of a good thing is bad for you and today for sure I had one too many pastrami sandwiches. I guess this was over sharing but that's what's happening.

Tomorrow back to tuna... for sure.

ok bye!
