MONDAY'S POET

-------------------------------------------

Too close for comfort...

So there's this spider in my shower. He's in the corner, staring me down. This spider's quite a threat to me , because he's big , he's hairy ,and he's brown.

I am frozen mid-shampoo and i don't know what to do.

His two front legs are twitching -waiting to attack, and I am standing motionless as chills run down my back. He will wrap me in his sticky web! He will save me for his dinner! These thoughts are circling my mind as the air around me is getting thinner.

I could spray him with the water, but that'll just make him meaner, how did i get in this mess? I only wanted to be cleaner! Perhaps I will just ignore him, rinse off and let him be, but tell me, how does one ignore something as spidery as he?

I am frozen mid-shampoo and I don't know what to do...
