Two Hot Dog Recipes! One from Mass! One from Caly!

_________________________________________________________________________

Hi Todd,

Love your site, and so I thought I'd share a tasty treat that Mom made me when I was a kid. I'm from Agawam, Mass, but I'm probably going to be moving to Hillsboro Oregon in a couple weeks. I'll have no job, no monay, and I'll be spending most of my day on your site, I'm sure, until I find a job.  Anyway, here's the recipe:

Stuffed Hot Dogs

Ingredients:
Hot Dogs
Mashed Potatoes
Prego Original Spaghetti Sauce

Take the hot dogs, slice them open and lay them down in a pan with the slice side up. After you've covered the bottom of the pan with hot dogs, put mashed potatoes on top of the hot dogs. Slather generously. Add some Prego on top. Any spaghetti sauce will do, but Prego just has that certain something. It works.  Bake in the oven at 350 degrees, for about 15 minutes. Enjoy!

Hope you like the recipe. I know it sounds weird, but I promise that it's good.

Sincerely,

Nikki, soon to be unemployed.

HOT DOG QUESADILLA / HOT DOG GRILLED CHEESE

2 tortillas (or 2 slices of sourdough bread)
shredded cheddar cheese
butter
1 hot dog

oh man oh man this is delicious, and easy as easy can be.
butter two flour tortiallas, and put one down on the stove (heated to, i dunno, medium) butter side down.  put some shredded cheese on and then put the other tortilla on butter side up.  flip and then flip again until both sides are golden, and the cheese is melted.  Now, 60 seconds before you think the quesadilla will be done, put a hotdog in the microwave on high.  then, the quesadilla is done and the hot dog is done. slip the hot dog in, roll it up, and you've got a greasefilled hotdog bonanza.  Same can be done with a grilled cheese, just substitute tortillas with sourdough bread.

Yummerful.  i usually cook this up when i wake up at 1 on a saturday and don't feel like going out.  oh man.
