Two Course Meal for Art Students (or any kinda students really …)

We art students are at the bottom of the food chain  – we’re poor, we’re dirty, we’re destitute and we’re hungry.  This is something really cheap to make when you’re hungry and have no mo-nay …

Main Course:

Fried Egg on Rice with Schweet Chili Sauce

Cook rice according to directions on packet.  Fry an egg.  When rice is cooked put into a bowl, and then put fried egg on top.  Smother with sweet chili sauce … its cheap … its cheerful.

Dessert:

Cinnamon Toast

Cook some bread until it becomes toast.  Butter toast.  Sprinkle with cinnamon powder and sugar.  Yummmmmmmmm

My name is Sheridan and I live in Mildura , Australia .

I've seen many variations on this recipe, so I don't know if you have them on the site yet:

I call these

Chocolate Peanut Butter Death Cookies

and they're great because you don't have to bake them, and there are only 5 ingredients:

1 package graham crackers (the little package inside the box--most brands give ya three little packages)

1 bag chocolate chips (12 oz.)

1lb. powdered sugar (1/2 a standard bag of powdered sugar)

1-ish cup margarine (if you really want to use butter you can, and I generally use slightly less than a cup)

1-ish cup of peanut butter (I like the crunchy kind, and usually use a bit more than a cup, but you can do creamy if you want)

Smash the heck out of the graham crackers, I generally leave them in the package and semi-carefully beat them with a rolling pin.  Much fun!  Put the smashed graham crackers in a bowl with the powdered sugar, the peanut butter, and the margarine, and mix until everything seems mostly combined, i.e. no powdered sugar flying everywhere.  Take a (I think it's a 8x8") square glass baking pan (you can use a 13x9" pan as well, but it's more challenging to get the chocolate spread over the peanut butter mix and makes for a far wussier Death Cookie) and spread the peanut butter mixture in the pan.  Melt the chocolate chips in a little pot (ramen size!) on low heat and pour it on over the peanut butter mixture in the pan, spread it on top, and refrigerate for a couple hours.  Excellent college food.

I'm from Boulder, Colorado.

Enjoy!
