Okay, this is my
fav sammich.
You take two slices of bread.
On one slice you put:
* mayo
* cheese (i love the smoked
cheese)
* cucumber slices
On the other slice you put:
* mustard (the sweet, light kind)
* a couple thin slices of
smoked turkey
* sliced tomatos
Then you put a heap of alfalfa
sprouts on one side and put the sammich together. It's really a great sandwich
with loads of flavour and sprouty goodness. Toss in a side of fruit and stuff
and you have a yummy lunch in no time flat.

Not sure that this counts as comfort food, but it tastes unbelievably
fantastic so that will have to do
Weeping Tiger
(named by the restaurant where I first tried it - now I just
make it at home)
Ingredients:
Steak - probably sirloin, fillet if you are feeling posh
Soy sauce
finely chopped fresh chillies (I use pre-chopped chillies in oil)
Sesame seeds
Right - here's what you do:
toast 2-3 teaspoons of sesame seeds in a dry pan until golden brown,
then dump in a pestle and mortar with the chillies (1-2 teaspoons) and bash
up with 1/4 cup soy sauce. Leave this on one side. Next, cook steak
- very hot pan, small amount of oil, 4 minutes/side (barbecuing it would be
even better) dip cooked steak in sauce and enjoy. Serve with brown
rice and stir-fried veg.
PS - really enjoy the site (although that should be obvious as I'm sending
something in...)

take a heatproof
dish
mix up a tub of
Philly plain cream cheese with a small pot of sour cream, spread in
bottom of pan
top with diced
cooked cubed chicken, or mangled chicken if you have issues and need
to be physical
then sprinkle
lots 'o' KRAFT ---has to be KRAFT TEX MEX grated cheese over
the top

sneaky part, BOTH veggie and fruit.......tomatoes are a fruit damnit!....Then
