Todd,
Here's a recipe for ya. This is beyond yummy. :)

French Toast Bake
This is awesome, cheap to make, and really easy.

Ingredients:
Pam Spray
8 Slices bread
4 eggs
1 cup cream or milk
Cinnamon
Sugar

Instructions:
1. Spray 9x9 pan generously with Pam. This is the most important step!!
2. Cut bread into little squares, or rip into hunks.
3. Put one layer of bread into pan and sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar.
4. Repeat step 3 until pan is 1/2 full.
5. Beat eggs and cream or milk together.
6. Pour 1/2 of beaten egg/milk mixture over bread.
7. Fill pan rest of way with bread and cinnamon sugar layers.
8. Pour rest of egg mixture over it.
9. Squish the bread down until it's all covered.
10. If you've read these before attempting to make, cover pan in plastic wrap and put in fridge overnight.
11. When you're ready to cook it, preheat oven to 400 degrees.
12. Remove plastic wrap. Bake for 45 minutes to one hour. The top will be crispy, and a knife stuck in the center will come out clean.
13. Douse in syrup and enjoy!

Dear Todd that is Odd, (and fab.)

My recipe.

Grilled Cheese and Soup. By Jenne Richards.

I live in Boston but I am a native New Yorker.

I miss the subway.

I like this recipe because I love cheese. And it’s not ‘spensive.

Ingredients:

Nice sliced cheese from the Deli. I find American and Swiss work the best.

Bread you enjoy

Country Crock spread.

Onion powder.

A tomato or some pickle chips.

For the sammich part, I feel that using a yummy bread like Wonder White or a nice wheat is good.

Then spread Country Crock on one side of each slice of bread you use. You can make as many sammiches as you like.

Turn  stove onto medium heat so sammiches do not burn. That sucks. L place spread side down onto pan.

Put cheese slices and tomato or pickles on top and then the other slice of bread, spread side up.

Flip over when side one is cooked. When both sides are finished, turn off stove and put sammich(es) on a plate.

Now you will be able to prepare soup.

Soup can be ramen noodles OR can soup.

I personally suggest Campbell’s Tomato Soup.

It’s yummy. Specially when you’re broke and this is nice and inexpensive.

Enjoy!

Love,

Jenne
