Yummy Zesty
Open Faced Sammiches
INGREDIENTS
(I usually make 2 sammiches, so this is enough stuff for two)
2 slices of bread
6 slices of mozza cheese
Heinz Chili Sauce (you can use salsa, but
this is the best)
tobasco sauce (optional)
DIRECTIONS
First you turn your oven on to broil. Then
take a cookie sheet and put the two slices of bread on that. Then you take
your chili sauce and put a generous dollop on each slice of bread. I use the
bottom of a spoon to spread it evenly over the bread. Then take your cheese,
3 slices for each piece of bread, and place evenly on top of the sauce.
Place in oven, and cook untill cheese is all melty and slightly turning
brown.
This is a great quick snack, that's both
cheesy and has a bit of zip and a hint of toasty goodness. Yum!

Chees-ay Sausage Dip
Ingredients:
One tube ground sausage
Two 8 oz. blocks of cream cheese
One can Ro-Tel tomatos with green
chiles
Cook the sausage and make it all
crumbly and then drain well. In another pan melt together the cream
cheese and tomatos
and add the sausage. I
usually put it in a crock pot to keep it warm, and serve with tortilla chips. You
can use other things like bagel chips or bread hunks or crackers, whatever you
like. Its really good and I hate tomatos in chunks. I avoid
putting the chunks in anything, but those with the chiles really make the dip.
Hope you try this and enjoy it as much as my friends and I do.
