Todd, you will love this!

South Texas Frito Pie

ok so most Frito pies are pretty down and dirty.  Fritos, Chili and Cheese
on top.  My recipe is for the new generation of chili lovers.

for 5-6 servings you will need:
-2 large bags of Fritos corn chips
-2 cans of Hormel chili (with or without beans, your choice)
-2  large spicy Italian (or whatever kind you like) sausages  (optional)
-1 bag of shredded cheddar cheese (the kind that comes in a little baggie)

Directions:  Using a deep oven safe dish, pour the plain corn chips all the
way to the top of the dish.  Pour most of bag of cheese on the chips.  Leave
only enough cheese in the bag to sprinkle on the Frito Pie after cooking.

Cook up the sausages then add them to the hot chili.  Let the sausages hang
out in the hot chili for a few minutes and  if you like hot chili then you
can add jalapenos or Tabasco sauce in the mix.

Finally, pour the hot chili over the chips and cheese then sprinkle the rest
of the cheese on top of that.  Put the finished product in the oven at about
400 degrees for no more than 2 minutes then serve it up fresh and crunch-ay!

Don't let the dish rest, if you do then the chips will become soggy.  The
crunchynessitude adds great flare to the Frito pie.

its good yo! Take some of those cinamin eggos, toast them, then put some peanut butter on them.
Its simple but some of the best things in the world are simple.

OOOOO...heres another goodie! I call in
chili mac.

Package of mac noodles.
1lb of ground beef.
Chili seasoning.
Big can of crushed tomatoes.
Half an onion.
Some water to thin it out if needed.
Shredded chedder cheese.

Alrighty, cook the noodles for 5 min. Meanwhile, brown meat. Drain. Combine cooked meat, chili seasoning, tomatoes, and onion in a pot.
Cook it for a bit, then add noodles. If ya want it thinner, add some water. Cook for a longer bit. Top with cheese. Can you say yummay?!

Hi Odd Todd,

Here is a recipe for a cool sandwitch, you can make this if you have a George Forman Grill.
2 pieces of bread, any type you like
spread the slices with butter on one side
heat up your george forman, when it is ready
put one slice (side w/the butter) on grill
add your favourite cheese, meat, such as ham, salami, bacon
put the other side on the sandwitch and press the grill lid down.
Check it after about 2 mins, so you don't burn it.
Take it off the grill when ready and enjoy! Don't burn your mouth..
People here in LA pay big bucks for these kind of sandwitches, now you
can in your own home!
Todd as always, thanks for this opportunity to share my cooking skills with others.
When are you coming to come to LA and go to dinner with me?

Take care & Hugs,
