Hamburger & Rice
1
lb. hamburger, thawed out
1 can diced tomatoes (the kind with onions and garlic is good)
1 cup rice
2 cups water
Just a little olive oil
1) Put the rice and the water and some olive oil in a microwave bowl, at least a 4 cup size. Nuke it for 5 minutes on high. Then nuke it for 15 minutes on medium.
2) While the rice is cooking, put the hamburger in a big frying pan with some olive oil and cook it until it’s just barely brown, not all the way.
3) When the rice is done cooking put it in the frying pan with the hamburger and the diced tomatoes and mix it all up. Careful, the rice will be really hot!
4) You can also add a
can of mushrooms, drained.

Hey Todd,
Here is a great recipe if you are bored, vegetarian, and hungry.
i call this,
THE OMEGA BAGEL
Ingrediants:
1 bagel cut in half ( I perfer plain bagel, but what ever suits you is
fine )
Cheese
Seasoning
Tofurky(or what ever you meat eaters want)
Directions:
Cut bagel in half. Cut cheese ( about 4 pieces ) and place in the
bagel. Put on whatever seasoning you would like on the cheese. Place
both halfs of the bagel, the one with the cheese and seasoning and the
side with nothing in toaster oven on Low or microwave for about 1
minutes or less (not intierly sure how long to cook in microwave
because I use the toaster over, and 1 minute seems about good. After
done cooking, remove bage.
Then get about 2 slices of the Tofurky and
place it on top of the cheese. Put the side of the bagel that has
nothing on top, and there you go, a OMEGA BAGEL. This is the best
thing in the world for a snack.
(pls post on this old board if you know where snappy can be found.)
