Funnel Cake
This is funnel cake like you can get at the state fair, but it doesn't cost 5
bucks like it does there. Well, maybe it does, but it's stuff you already have
in the pantry. I like it cause it's yummy with powdered sugar on top.
Rachel, Columbus, Ohio
Ingredients:
3 eggs
2 c. milk
1/4 c. sugar
3-4 c. flour
1/2 t salt
2 t baking powder
(the lower case t's are teaspoon, just FYI)
Start your Fry Daddy up first.
Mix all the ingredients except for the flour together in a glass measuring cup
with the pour-y lip or a bowl with the easy to pour area. Put 3 cups of the
flour in. Add the remaining cup of flour until the batter looks nice and
batter-y. You might not need to add all of the last cup of flour.
Mix it all up.
Pour your batter all swirly into the fry daddy to make the funnel cake shape.
You'll probably get 2 funnel cakes from this recipe. When the frying funnel
cake looks golden brown, flip it over. When that side is brown, take it out of
the fryer (HOT) and place onto a plate with papertowels on to sop up the
grease. Top the funnel cake with powdered sugar, chocolate sauce, or fruit
stuff, or any combination of the above.
EAT!

Hey Todd,
This recipe is called
Tasty Spicy Hotdish Stuff.
I like it because it's all gooey melty cheesy tasty.
It's best when it hot right off the stove, and it's good to make when you're out
camping too.
Take 2 pounds of hamburger, fry it up in a pot, breaking it up into chunks
with a ½ teaspoon of crushed red pepper and some chopped or crushed garlic.
I like a lot of garlic myself, but ya need at least 1 clove. When it starts to
get all brown,
toss in a can of corn (drained), a couple of cups of cooked rice (flavored is
best, like Uncle Ben's Beef flavor),
and a cup of water and a taco seasoning packet. Simmer it until the burger is
cooked all the way,
and the water evaporates. Then, take it off the stove, add a half pound of
shredded cheese, stir it up
'till it's all melty good, and serve! I put some sour cream and hot sauce on
mine, but that's just me!
