TUESDAY'S LUNCH SPECIAL IS FROM: Dwight M. (San Francisco, CA)

D's Strogin-off

Easy recipie that goes well with everything, cheap, and feeds your ass for days.

Ingredients:

1lb ground meat
breadcrumbs or flour
3 can cream of mushroom soup
2 cans beef BROTH, not soup
1 cup sourcream (or just enough to your taste)
spices n' stuff
Pasta, rice, mashpotatoes or whatever your favorite carb-o staple is....you'll see why later

Directions:
take meat and make into bitesized meatballs by mixing in spices and flour/breadcrumbs (only about a small handful)
Set aside
NOTE: can substitute meatballs with hotdogs, sausage, leftover chicken etc.
Bring the cans of cream o' mushroom soup, and beef broth to boil.
At the same time or ahead of time, cook pasta, rice, or whatever.
Now, you can either brown the meatballs in a pan first but since i can't ever seem to be bothered with this i just dump them in the boiling soup and let them cook in there for about 10-15 mins depending on how done you like your balls.
So basically you have a sauce for your staple.  Pour this over your pasta or rice etc for an easy way to "jazz up" your plain pasta/rice/potatoes etc.  I make it with sausages sometimes and pour over some mashed potatoes for a pseudo "bangers and mash" meal.
