As far as I can tell, I came up with it though it's only a modification of a drink that already existed. I call it…..
THE BERSERKER!
All it is is a White Russian with 1 or 2 shots of espresso poured into it.
Ta-da.

Hey OddTodd,
I live in Wisconsin, where it's considered an
abomination to arrive at a dinner party (or whatever)
without beer. This hummus will sufficiently reward
your guests for doing the right thing.

Bring-the-Beer Black Bean Hummus
* 1 large can black beans, drained and rinsed
* 2 cloves garlic, minced
* juice of 1 lime
* 3 tablespoons tahini
* 3 tablespoons olive oil
* 1 teaspoon ground cumin
* 1/2 teaspoon salt
* 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
* 2 tablespoons cilantro, chopped
* 1/4 teaspoon paprika
* 6 warmed pita rounds, quartered
Combine the first eight ingredients in a blender or
food processor; process until smooth, scraping down
the sides as needed. Add the cilantro and process for
about 5-10 seconds to coarsely combine. Transfer to a
serving bowl and garnish with paprika; arrange the
pita slices on a plate and serve, preferably with some
good beer somebody brought over.
Makes about 6 servings as an appetizer.------------------------------------------------------------
im from that rock across the adlantic that used to run your joint (London to be precise)its called 'Simple Stu/Stew'some potatoes:skin em and stick em in a pan and boil emnext find meat (anything will do lamb or beef wotk a treat)cook it then put it in a sauce pan with load of gravy and stick in the ovenadd veg to the bowl (slice and dice a couple of carrots,onions and mushrooms)if you can make a few golf ball sized dumplings (1 part suet and 2 part flour, add a LITTLE water and roll into balls) that would be great and add to the meat and veg pan.leave to simmer and every 15 mins (use a spoon) slightly move the dumplings so all of it swell and is covered in gravy.put in a casserole dish and leave it in the oven to simmer some more and server piping hot. have the potatoes on the side.you will have to experiment with the amounts of meat to gravy and veg but it does wonders on the 'crisp' winters------------------------------------------------------------
Chocolate Chip Pancakes2 tbsp. melted butter3/4 cup milk1 egg1 cup all-purpose flour4 tbsp. sugar (2x the amount as normal pancakes)2 tsp. baking powder1/2 tsp. saltchocolate chips (as much as you want)whipped creammix the butter, milk and egg together.mix the flour, sugar, baking powder and salt togethermix the wet mixture with the dry mixture until everything is mixed. You might need to add more milk until you have the right consistency (if you don't know what the right consistency is, it doesn't matter, just make sure you add lots of chocolate chips)add the chocolate chips and mix until they are evenly distributed.Put into a buttered frying pan and brown on both sides. Top with whipped cream and enjoy.------------------------------------------------------------
