Hi tOdd (and RoscOe!),

Here's the recipe for my official holiday caffeine (and sugar) fix.

Pumpkin Pie Mocha

1 cup milk (any kind)
2 teaspoons cocoa powder
1 tablespoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice*

Hot coffee or espresso

Whipped cream (optional)
Sprinkle of nutmeg (optional)

Heat the milk in a saucepan or the microwave. Whisk in the cocoa powder, sugar, and pumpkin pie spice. Transfer to a blender and whir for 7-10 seconds, to get a bit of a frothy consistency going.

Fill mugs with half coffee or espresso, and half hot pumpkin mocha mixture.

Top with whipped cream and a sprinkle of nutmeg, if you're a fancy-pants like me.

Makes about 2 servings.

*You can get ready-mixed pumpkin pie spice at the grocery store, on the spice aisle, or just make your own using the recipe below:

Hey tOdd

I'm a long time reader first time writer-in-er. So I thought I would share one of my absolute fav meals it's pretty simple pretty cheap and damn good. So here it is

Po' Chops A Chunky (Trust me it's better than the name which I stole from the movie How High)

Ok so you need 4 pork chops for the amounts i'm using

1 Clove of garlic (not the whole big bulb just one of the sections) you can use garlic powder but it's not as good

1 med onion

1 can of cream of mushroom soup

1 can of cream of chicken soup

salt and pepper

some kind of glass baking dish ( i use a long pyrex cassarole dish )

Turn oven to 425

arange the pork so it is all sitting on the bottom of the dish cut up your onion and garlic and throw it on top of the pork add salt and pepper now in a mixing bowl mix the 2 cans of soup and one can of water mix it all up and pour this on top of everything. put it in the oven (do not cover unless you want to scrub the oven when your done) for 40-45 minutes serve with rice (i like to pour the soupy stuff on the rice) and mixed veggies

You can also substitute with chicken (same temps and times) or salmon (or any fish i guess) and cream of celery (400F only about 25-30 min)

It's not a quick meal but the prep is simple. if you live anywhere that acually has a cold snowy winter you'll probably enjoy this one. you don't need to use prime pork and kind of chops you can find like or afford works great. as far as the chicken it works best with the breast which isn't all that cheap but really good and the salmon is very good too. bon appetite.

Count Cluckula/Clove of the Sea.

1 shakey-thing of garlic.
1 freshly-dead chicken, prefurably precooked. (or oil tuna)
1 butter coissant.

*Slice quisant in half, aplly chicken OR spread tuna (undrained) on one side. Preinkle garlic profusely over meat on both sides, eat. If your tongue don't burn, you don't have enough garlic.

1) Pita Pizza

2) I'm from Cleveland, Ohio but I'm at Kent State University now.

3) I like this recipe because it is easy, cheap, and has lots of variations.

Ingrediants:
Pita
Sauce
Cheese
Toppings

First you obtain a pita.  I personally like the wheat ones that are real thick, but any will do.  Then you put the sauce on it.  You can use pizza sauce, spaghetti sauce, when I'm feeling saucy and fancy I use pesto.  Then you put on the toppings.  Whatever you like.  You can use pepperoni, olives, chicken, peppers, mushrooms.  Its up to you.  Then you put on the cheese.  I like mozzarella but if you don't then don't use it.  Subsitute it for whatever you like.  Then you stick the sucker in the oven at 350 degrees till the cheese is melted.  Then you can eat it.  Yay.
