TUESDAY'S LUNCH SPECIAL IS FROM: JOY in DALLaS, TEXAS.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I like it cause it's really yummy, yet doesn't require going to the store for oddball ingredients.

Joy's Microwave S'mores

INGREDIENTS:
2 or 3 giant graham crackers
mini marshmallows
Hershey's syrup (regular, not lite, which tastes foul)
big 12 oz. glass of milk

Break graham crackers apart along their handy perforations.  Arrange
little rectangles on a plate.  Put 3 mini marshmallows on each cracker.
Squirt Hershey's syrup lightly over the whole plate. I say lightly
because you want to make sure to get a lil' syrup on each marshmallow,
but the crackers don't hold up too well if they are swimming in syrup.

Microwave for about 15 seconds, until marshmallows look intact, but
collapse when you poke 'em.  Head to the couch and eat while watching
TV.  Wash 'em down with the glass of milk; drink skim milk if you are on
a diet.

I like this even better than regular s'mores because it's easier to eat
-- the chocolate is already liquid and the graham crackers get soft; you
don't scratch the inside of your mouth with a hard cracker.

You take care,
Joy J.
