Todd:
My favorite recipe is when I buy Marnica’s cranberry sauce.
It IS the best cranberry sauce EVER. [and no I don’t work for them].
Here’s a page where their info is located. Worth shipping to NY, really. You need to buy some. You will thank me. And them.
Really.

Butter

Baguette
Sautée sliced mushrooms (button, pleurote, shittake,
whatever you have on hand) in butter and olive oil
over high heat. When mushrooms have browned, deglaze
the pan with some good port. Add cream and reduce
until thick and creamy. Season with black pepper and
sea salt. Serve over slices of well toated baguette.
Yummy! My boyfriend made this the other night as a
snack, and it was great.
