Dear Todd,
These little 4th of July "sparklers" are so easy to make.  They go great with beer too.
I love them for both of those reasons and so will you.

I live in Los Angeles and love the 4th of July.  XO~ Agent 34-24-34

SPARKLERS
16 squares (1 ounce each) white baking chocolate
2 packages (10 ounces) pretzel rods
Colored candy stars or sprinkles

Place chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl; heat until melted. Dip each pretzel rod about halfway into chocolate; sprinkle with stars. Place on waxed paper to dry. Once cooled, put into clean Mason jars and use as centerpieces--or just eat them.

Here's my disaster cake from Saturday.
This cake was extremely heavy and I should have stacked it upon arrival instead of beforehand.
The weight of it pulled it over when we drove up the hill to the reception site.
The bride was very calm about it and gave me directions to the nearest Publx.
I bought some plain white cakes and just decorated them with the same colors.
I was so hurt. There was a lot of work put into this cake. The grooms cake was fine except for one tiny detail.
HE'S ALLERGIC TO CHOCOLATE!!!!!!!

Oh well. That taught me a lesson. No more stacking beforehand.
No matter how successful it has been in the past.
