TUESDAY'S LUNCH SPECIAL IS FROM:

Brian in Cincinatt-ay, Ohio!
----------------------------------------

"Smitt-ay's Margarita Day" (It sounds like Pig Latin, but it isn't)

Here's what you need:

Some cracked ice (not pulverized crushed, just busted up a little bit)
Put a couple of handfuls of ice into your drink shaker.
Pour 3 shots of top shelf tequila into the shaker
Pour 1 shot of Triple Sec into the shaker ( For a Smurfy treat, use Blue Curacao instead of Triple Sec)
Squeeze 1 whole lime into the drink shaker.

Here's the secret part - scoop a heaping tablespoon of frozen lime juice concentrate into the shaker. It makes it yumm-ay. If you forget this part, the whole thing is rooned.

If you like your margarita a little weaker, put a couple of ounces of hot water into the shaker.

Shake it up. Shake it up good. Dance around while you're shaking if you want.

Set it down.

Cut two lime wedges. Use one lime wedge to moisten the outside edge of the rim of a glass. (Lotsa people like to use margarita glasses. I actually like to use 'rocks' style glasses. Easier to hold and stuff.) Make sure you only get the outside of the rim moisty.

Roll the outside rim of the glass through some margarita salt. (If you use the Blue Buraco, you can get blue salt to finish your Smurfventure)

Carefully place some more cracked ice into the glasses. Cut the lime wedge almost in half, and put it on the edge of the glass.  Strain your shaken margarita over the cracked ice.

Enjoy.

Repeat as needed.
When you have forgotten the recipe for cracked ice, it is time for bed.

I like this recipe because it is soooo tasty, and helps me be happy about things like the paint I spilled on the carpet.
