Killer Dip
2 blocks of
Velveeta Cheese
2 cans of Hormel Chili (sans beans)
2 cans of green chilies (Ortega style)
Combine the above in crock pot and let it hang out
until it is all combined. You'll need to stir it now
and again (which is a great excuse to lick the
spoon!). I have done it in the microwave and on the
stove top too. All three methods work well.
Serve with chips (preferably Tostitos Gold (extra
salty factor) or the scoops variety). Can also be
used as a condiment apparently. My co-worker put it
on a meatball sub today!
This recipe is always a hit. Major comfort food
factor. Beware! You need pants with elastic because
you will bloat up after eating this.

The second
recipe is from Stephanie!
Here
is my dip recipe. I call it
"The
Dip"
cause
there's nothing too fancy about it.
It's quick and easy and is a big hit for Monday night football and
the guys!!
You
need:
1/2
jar of salsa
1
can of Hormel chilli (without beans)
1
can Bean Dip (the kind in the chip aisle)
1
can Mild Cheddar Dip (also in the chip aisle)
1
pkg. cream cheese
1/2
cup shredded cheddar cheese
Tostitos
Cook
chilli and cream cheese on med. heat in a 2 qt. saucepan or bigger. When
cream cheese is melted, stir in remaining ingredients. Cook until you see
a couple bubbles. Pour this in to a 2 qt. or bigger glass bowl (Pyrex
is great) and top with the cheddar cheese. Remember to lick the spoon
cause that's the best part! :) Serve with Tostitos or Fritos are good too,
and enjoy!! Also have some TUMS on hand, just in case!!
