TUESDAY'S LUNCH SPECIAL (WITH BONUS SALAD)!

is from nicole (aka kitchen slave) from boise idaho!

Trying to feed 8 (5 are guys, so it's more like 20) hungry idiots that only know how to "cook" cereal. Everyone shows up for dinner when this is made...

"nicole's cheesy tuna casserole"

serves:        5-8 people
prep time:   10 minutes
cook time:  15 minutes
eating time: 10 minutes
washing time: i do the cooking... not the cleaning!

ingredients:  can be divided in half if not serving 500 people, unless you are REALLY hungry...

*1 mondo bag of spiral noodles (not the colored ones)
*2 cans of tuna in water  (drained)
*2 cans cream of mushroom soup
*1 can of veggies (frozen veggies are ok too)
->corn, peas, or mixed... whatever you like works
*1 package/bag of grated cheese-- the big one-- the price is usually the same as buying a block... why bother yourself anymore than you have to, right?
*1/3 cup of milk? i never measure it, i just splash some in it out if it's too thick. sometimes i don't even use milk!

let's cook:
1.wash your hands you dirty, filthy thing. you DON'T cook with dirty hands, ok?

2.boil the noodles in a big big pot

3.pre-heat the oven to about 350 and set out your bakeware. depending on how much you've made you might need 2 pans

4. mix the tuna, veggies, cream of mushroom soup, about 1/4 of the cheese, and your "maybe milk" in a seperate bowl

5.when the noodles are done... drain them

6. dump the mixed stuff in with the noodles and MIX-- i usually just do it in the big big pot

7. toss it into the bakeware

8. cover the stuff with cheese.... loads of cheese

9. bake for about 15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted completly

10. eat it. yumm

here's a bonus

"bacon salad"

this sounds strange, but damn. it's GOOD

you only need 4 things

1. bacon cook and chop them into 1 inch squares
2. fresh spinach... not cookd in ANYWAY. you can buy it in a bag, it's next to the salad-in-a-bag section
3.1 or 2 tomoatoes  slice those babies up
4. top with a raspberry vinegarette

serve it while the bacon is still warm. it's a bunch of strong flavors in one dish, and it is SO good (if you areserving it to someone that doesn't like spinach, just don't tell them what it is. no one every guesses!!)
