TUESDAY'S LUNCH SPECIAL IS

from Rich from Boulder Colorado

Hi ya OT, have been reading over some of your recipes and thought I would send you in one of my favs from my
bachlor/unemployed days...  It's a good recipe because it's pretty cheap to make and there are always tons of leftovers,
and it keeps well so you don't have to wolf all the leftovers right away.

I call this:

 Chinese Meatloaf

Here is what you need:
1 pound of hamburger, lean and mean
1 package fresh mushrooms
Bean sprouts, the amount can vary to taste and to preference, I normally get a good sized bag but use FRESH
Soy sauce two tablespoons
Teriyaki sauce 1/4 cup
Pepper one teaspoon
Cooking Sherry two tablespoons
One egg
Chowmein noodles, I recommend the thick ones but thin will work as well one bag

How you do it

1. Cut up mushrooms into quasi-thin slices

2. Cut up bean sprouts

3.Take hamburger and combine it with egg, Soy sauce, Teriyaki sauce, sherry, and pepper.  Go ahead and use your hands and get down and dirty.

4. Once meat and spices and sauce are mixed good mix in mushrooms and sprouts.

5. Add in Chowmein noodles

6. Mix it all well and put into baking dish

7. Bake at 350 for about an hour, might take less time at low sea level, but here in CO it's at least an hour, plenty of time for a quick nap or an episode or two of Sponge Bob

You can then serve it over plain white rice. It's eas-ay, yumm-ay and doesn't require a lot of mon-ay

Hope you like it,  good Karma to you,

Rich
