The Best Damn Meat Loaf You've Ever Eaten.

This recipe has been handed down from mother to daughter for over 75 years.

How good is it?  My three kids will eat it.  And ask for more.

2 lbs. ground beef
1 lb. thick sliced bacon
1 Cup Italian Seasoned Bread Crumbs
1 egg
1-2 tsp. Accent Seasoned Salt (TO TASTE)
Ketchup

Combine ground beef and dry ingredients.  Add egg.  Knead mixture until
thick and thoroughly blended.

Form into loaf in baking pan.  Spread ketchup over entire loaf.  Lay strips
of bacon over entire loaf, leaving little to no loaf exposed.

Bake at 350 degrees F for about an hour or until meat thermometer shows an
internal temperature of 160 degrees F. 

Allow to rest for 10 - 15 minutes before slicing. 

NOTE
: Slice through the bacon to avoid unwanted "he has more bacon than me"
and "she's got all the bacon" outbursts.
