My recipe comes from
Pittsburgh, PA (home of the Heinz company) but I come
from San Francisco CA.
sweet and sour meatballs
What you need:
one 2 lb box of frozen meatballs (from your favorite big box store)
one jar of welch's grape jelly (other grape jellies work)
two bottles of Heinz Chilli Sauce (for the Pittsburgh taste, no other
Chilli Sauce will work)
an oven
a crock pot
thaw/cook the meat balls in the oven
mix the jelly and the chilli sauce together in the crock pot, add the
cooked meatballs...cook on low until mixture is hot,
eat with toothpicks
I love it because its weird, and tasty.
