TUESDAY'S LUNCH SPECIAL
Is from Louise in Halifax,Nova Scotia,Canada!

Okay so I don't know
if this qualifies as lunch, but it's something you do in
the kitchen. I call it...
BURRITO PANTS
When I was a kid and it was
cold out my mom would put our clothes in the dryer
for a couple of minutes to warm them up before we got dressed. Then we would
have on warm underpants for awhile.
Now I'm a grownup and the only dryers in my apartment building cost $1.25 to
use and they're 10 storeys away from me so it's not convenient, really.
BUT
If you put your clothes in a plastic shopping bag, then put them in the
microwave, it warms them up nicely. Plus it's free, kind of. Especially if you
have a sweet deal where you don't really pay for your electricity in your
apartment.
Times vary, and you have to make sure you don't put any clothes that have metal
on them in, unless you want to buy a new microwave for yourself. I've found
through careful experimentation that one minute and thirty seconds warms up my
flannel pj's to a nice toasty consistency.
