Grandma Waibel's
Mac n Cheese
You need:
16 oz. sharp cheddar cheese, grated (only buy pre-grated if really lazy,
it's not as good)
16 oz. elbow macaroni
two cans tomato soup
bread crumbs, from a can
Boil the noodles in a big pot. While the noodles are cooking, shred up
the cheese. Drain the noodles and put them back in the pot. Mix
in the two cans tomato soup and cheese. Pour it all into a baking
dish, and sprinkle a healthy layers of bread crumbs on top. Bake it in
the oven (if you're impatient you can eat some after mixing stage) at around
375 F. for 30-45 minutes or until the top is nice and yummy crispy golden
brown goodness. The crispies are the best part. The second best
part is that it tastes even better as leftovers. Sometimes I add a bit more
tomato soup for extra tomatoey flavor. The tomatoey flavor is the best
and a half best part.
I've eaten the whole dish in less than 24 hours before. It's good.
